Ehud (Udi) Cohen

Under his leadership, BioControl Medical has attracted a world-class group of senior executives, engineers and medical advisors and has developed an advanced implantable electrostimulation platform technology with potential application in numerous therapeutic areas.

Cohen has successfully led BioControl Medical through three financing rounds, and he also oversaw the sale of the company's technology assets in urology and gynecology to American Medical Systems in 2006.

He is currently leading the company's focused efforts to develop and commercialize implantable electrostimulation devices for the treatment of autonomic disorders, an initiative financed in part through a strategic alliance with Medtronic.

Cohen previously held technical project management roles in the Israeli Department of Defense and the Israeli Navy.

He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics as well as a Ph.D. in Physics from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
