The dramatic shift to an innovative and entrepreneurial high-tech orientation that the Israeli economy has undergone in recent decades has been acknowledged globally. Research, innovation & entrepreneurship have come to be regarded as integral parts of the Israeli economic mindset and the many successful M&As of Israeli Start-Up companies have turned our small country into a world leader in certain high-tech areas. 
The role of sound methodologies of innovation and entrepreneurship is to transform good ideas into actual products and services that will create value for the organization and the society as a whole. 
The essence of the relationship offered aims to establish a partnership in order to achieve mutual goals: training and developing of government officials and the creation of effective eco-systems supporting entrepreneurship and innovation. 
The program will introduce state of the art knowledge and best practices, dealing with innovation, business strategy, professional entrepreneurship, commercialization of knowledge and other disciplines critical to the success and growth of technological sectors and innovation driven business. The program will strive to depict a holistic view of the Israeli eco-system and its attributes, which transformed Israel into a global leader in innovation. Moreover, the program will augment the ties between government officials with their Israeli counterparts, in addition to business leaders and serial entrepreneurs. 

We offer this unique cooperation initiative for mutual learning and growth, bringing together international and Israeli individuals who have a great influence on their respective communities. 
We invite government officials to enrich, educate and enjoy themselves in one of the most vital and dynamic countries, working with the leading institution of higher education in the region.

Program participants

The program will be tailored for up to 35 government officials, chosen by the organizer and the respective government.

Program objectives

The program, designed and tailored for a delegation of government officials, will frame the central aspects of entrepreneurship and innovation in Israel, supporting policies and geo-political environment. These concepts will be framed within the context of the country's booming high-tech economy and the emerging of global Israeli companies. It will offer a unique synthesis between state of the art academic studies and practical, hands-on experiences with the Israeli technological industries. 
In addition, the program will advance the relations and networking between the participants and Israeli high level government officials and business leaders.

Program outline

The program's duration will be 7-10 days long, during which participants will undergo class studies, workshops, company visits and cultural exposure. 
Fridays and Saturdays are weekend days in Israel, therefore these days will be dedicated to culture exploration and visits. 
Days of activity normally begin at 08:30 (hotel pick-up), studies and company visits normally end at 17:00 and dinner will be scheduled for around 18:00.


Program participants will receive a certificate on behalf of Lahav Executive Education, Coller School of Management, Tel-Aviv University. The certificate may also bear the official logo of the organizer and the respective government.


Hospitality and ceremonies

TAU will provide the delegation with a full suite of services, guarantying the success of the program and most effective utilization of participants' time spent in Israel.
During the program the delegations will enjoy full-board service and dining according to the schedule. TAU will provide all lunches and dinners during the program (breakfast is provided at the hotel).
Two of the dinners will host Israeli government officials, serial entrepreneurs, VC partners and business leaders to dine and get to know the program's participants. This will enable informal, unmediated networking opportunities.

Escort during the visit
TAU will provide the group with escorts during all official program hours of the program. 
TAU will provide a two person escort:
A. Coordination liaison from TAU; responsible for all training program activities and communication with local lecturers, executives and other suppliers.
B. Professional translator.

The sessions delivered within the program will be conducted in English. TAU will provide translation services for training program activities during the program.
For lectures conducted at Tel-Aviv University, simultaneous translation will be provided; for all other activities outside the university (company visits, group meetings, tours, meals and so forth) consecutive translation will be provided.
